Interesting how the end user bitrate control for the CNN stream I mentioned in my previous post has been removed.
How about having a conversation with us "Admin" rather than the occasional 3 word comment or response.
Working together is always the better option.

Now the CNN International is off the rails again, tried it on 3 diff computers for the transmission right now of SMERCONISH, but it just buffers and slurrs every now and then, just about every 2-3 mins ... horrible quality, why admin why?

Hi "Admin",
Working well now! I see you've implemented a video bitrate (quality) control for CNN. Auto, Low, Med and High. Great Idea works great on Edge and Opera browsers I use. Ideal for the user to be able to manage the bandwidth if needed.
Cheers,
Paul

I agree with Paul. I used to watch CNN in Ireland but I have moved to Spain and I really wanted to watch it today because of Jimmy Carter’s funeral. Come guys get it together.

Hi Admin(s),
Any chance you can up the encoding bitrate of the CNN stream?
The quality used to be pretty close to 1080 (FHD). It's noticeably lower bitrate now. I stream it through devices such as a phone, iPad, laptop and TV's. It looks inferior to what it did a couple months ago IIRC, the bitrate changed around the time of streaming the *****. election. Obviously, this was deliberately done due to the expected user and bandwidth increases.
Can the rate be increased back to what it was?
As I've mentioned before, the BBC News feed is better quality.
Regards,
Paul
